Alltech has been awarded the Install Spillway Gate Hoist Wire Ropes project at Big Bend Dam in South Dakota by the Army Corps of Engineers. The project includes replacement of the 80 wire ropes that raise and lower the eight spillway tainter gates. Recoating the 80 drum discs is also included in this project.
Alltech has been awarded the Intake Gate Gearbox Rehabilitation project at Big Bend Dam in South Dakota by the Army Corps of Engineers. The project includes complete refurbishment of the 24 gearboxes that operate the power plant’s intake gate hoists. Replacement of the electrical feeders and breakers is also included.
Alltech had no OSHA recordable injuries in the second quarter of 2017.
